Our Borders Scottish Borderland Weathered Lambswool Small Fringed Cushion Cover is a muted tartan with a pale blue and sage green base and white and yellow overchecks. This cushion cover is soft and comforting and inject a little warmth into your home. Made from our 100% lambswool blankets and tailored in-house. All cushion covers have a decorative fringe on the front with an envelope closure. Available in 2 sizes. The small cushion cover fits a 30cm x 40cm (11.8" x 15.7") cushion pad and the large cushion cover fits a 45cm x 45cm (17" x 17") cushion pad.

Although there are many Tartans in existence that were worn by Prince Charles Edward Stewart, the most commonly accepted Tartan associated with the Prince that is similar to the Royal Stewart, but with a much smaller section of Red ground, This Tartan was worn by the Prince at the Bell In HoIyrood House during his occupation of Edinburgh In 1745. Prince Charles was born on the 31st December 1720, the son of King James VIII of Scotland and II of England. His mother was Polish. After failing to restore the House of Stuart to the Throne, he left Scotland and eventually died on the 30th of January 1788. His funeral took place in Frescati in Italy and was conducted by his brother, the Cardinal Duke of York.

King Charles III has been seen out and about wearing this tartan as a kilt since October 2022.

Returns

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return them in an unused condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the cost of your goods.

Custom made/bespoke items and tartan fabric are excluded from the returns policy except for when a genuine defect has been identified.

Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
