When caring for your Lochcarron products, we want to ensure that your purchase serves you for years to come, staying in the best possible condition. We always recommend that you follow the Dry Clean Only advice stated on our labels, allowing your product to be handled with care by professionals. When water, heat, soap and movement are exposed to wool, piling and shrinking can occur, this is why if handwashing is being considered, the extra time and care must be taken. The wool we use at Lochcarron of Scotland cannot be machine washed, so please be mindful of that l when deciding what the best method is for you.  We recommend Dry Cleaning for all of our products exceptions would be for items such as sporrans and non-textile products we would then recommend wipe clean.
