Andrew Webster

Warping & Banking Operative

Andrew has worked at Lochcarron of Scotland for over 23 years and is one of our skilled Warping & Banking Operatives. 

 

Helen Clapperton

Sewn Product Operative & Kiltmaker

Helen joined Lochcarron in 2014 initially working with the team in the scarf department, however, her tailoring skills were soon put to good use and she is now crafting our hand-sewn traditional kilts,  as well as other much-loved products.  Her technique ensures each kilt is made to the highest standard.

 

Joy Moran 

Retail Manager at Lochcarron Weavers Heritage Shop 

Joy has worked for Lochcarron of Scotland for 22 years and welcomes visitors from all over the world to Lochcarron Weavers, situated on the banks of picturesque Loch Carron in Wester Ross. A warm welcome awaits, as well as a beautiful range of tartans, luxury knitwear, kilts and tweed, all complemented with just the right accessories.

 

Hughie MacDonald 

Tuner Weaver 

Hughie has worked at Lochcarron in Scotland for a total of ten years. Hughie, as a tuner weaver, is a loom technician who keeps the looms running! He also prepares the looms and keeps an eye on them while they weave.

 

Keith Russell

Sales Team

Keith has been part of the sales team at Lochcarron of Scotland since January 1999. Meeting with customers all over the UK, Keith is great at telling Lochcarron's story and engaging with his customer's about all things tartan.

 

Fiona Guthrie

Senior Dyer

Fiona started her journey at Lochcarron of Scotland when she was 16 years old, taking part in a 4 year Textile Colouration Apprenticeship from the Scottish College of Textiles. Today you can find Fiona managing our dyehouse, taking yarn from its ecru state into its coloured state ready for weaving!
