The Robyn Black Watch Modern Tartan Lambswool Jacket is a navy and green based tartan with black overchecks and is the perfect complement to any wardrobe. It is the ultimate Winter-Spring piece that is easy to wear, draping delicately over the shoulders to give a classic and elegant look. Featuring two pockets and a small scarf that can be wrapped over the shoulders or draped in the front, this truly versatile garment can be worn over jumpers or coats. Available as one size fits all.
This tartan bears the name of the famous 42nd Royal Highland Regiment (The Black Watch), the premier Highland Regiment. First raised in 1729, as four Independent Companies of Highlanders to patrol and keep the peace within the Highlands. Their complement was increased in 1739 and the companies formed into a regiment. The Black Watch has a long record of military service to the nation. They were called "Freiceadan Dubh" by the Highlanders in allusion to the sombre colours of their tartan and to their employment as Watchers over the Highlands. The tartan is claimed to be of Campbell origin.

Custom made/bespoke items and tartan fabric are excluded from the returns policy except for when a genuine defect has been identified.
Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty goods.
