Based in the Scottish Borders is the Lochcarron of Scotland HQ and authentic weaving mill. With high quality craftmanship and textile heritage at the forefront of our brand, we take pride in our traditional manufacturing process. Sourcing our yarns globally, while connecting with key partners in the UK, we work mainly with natural fibres and animal hair. Blends of wool, cashmere and mohair are our most popular choice of fibres and are what create our luxurious collection of fabric and accessories.

Our staff throughout the mill bring a broad range of skills and enterprise to every aspect and art of the textile industry, with decades of experience and knowledge circulating our mill to ensure a dependable and trustworthy service our customers can rely on. Ideas and creativity starting in our design studio follow the fibre through the hands of skilled dyers, warpers, weavers and darners, before the piece is sent to our excellent partners, Schofields Dyers and Finishers in Galashiels. Their expertise and service are an invaluable asset to us in our manufacturing process. Once the cloth has landed back at our HQ, it is ready to be cut, labelled and sent out to our wonderful customers.
