Ontario Canadian

This district tartan design was inspired by the Provincial Coat of Arms, which was granted to the province of Ontario by Royal Warrant of Queen Victoria in 1868. The tartan features a green ground with yellow from the three golden maple leaves on the lower shield, red from the cross of St George on the upper section, and black and brown tones from the bear, the moose and the deer. Ontario is the southernmost and second-largest province in Canada.
