Borders Auld Scotland Tartan Lambswool Small Fringed Cushion Cover
Our Borders Auld Scotland Tartan Lambswool Fringed Cushion Covers are soft and comforting and inject a little warmth into your home. Made from our 100% lambswool blankets and tailored in-house. All cushion covers have a decorative fringe on the front with an envelope closure. Available in 2 sizes. The small cushion cover fits a 30cm x 40cm (11.8" x 15.7") cushion pad and the large cushion cover fits a 45cm x 45cm (17" x 17") cushion pad.
Lochcarron produced this tartan in January 2008, around the anniversary of the National Bard, Robert Burns. Wishing to mark his 250th anniversary to be celebrated the following year, the name Auld Scotland was inspired by the modern version of his toast to the Haggis.
The colours used are reminiscent of those associated with the Ayrshire countryside. The pale Yellow which is strongly featured recognises the importance of the barley used to create Scotland's National drink, whisky, traditionally used to toast the Haggis, which has itself a base of golden oats. Although Burns, being a Lowlander, would have been unlikely to wear tartan, had Auld Scotland been in existence, we feel sure he would have enjoyed wearing such a design, as would his 'drouthy cronies’ whilst perhaps gathering for a haggis supper.

If, for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your order, you can return them in an unused condition and in the original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the cost of your goods.
Custom made/bespoke items and tartan fabric are excluded from the returns policy except for when a genuine defect has been identified.
