If the goods are not in stock, we will contact you. We can put the goods on backorder, choose an alternative, or offer a refund. Any refunds will be made as soon as possible.

Shipping costs for overseas orders will depend on weight and destination. See below for a list of shipping rates.

Tracking

In cases where tracking numbers are provided, we will pass this information on to you so you can log into the respective site to see where your order is in the delivery process.

Delivery

Although we can control our input to your order, unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee the performance of any third parties. Although something does rarely go wrong, if, after a reasonable time, your goods have not arrived, please contact us.

Please note that a contact telephone number is required for shipping purposes. Unfortunately, we can NOT deliver to P.O. boxes. An alternative address can be useful in this instance, e.g. your work address. A signature will also be required upon most deliveries.

Overseas shipments - goods being shipped outside the UK may be subject to duty charges

Please note that if goods are shipped out with the UK, additional costs may be incurred. In some cases, charges for customs clearance may be collected by the couriers (broker or clearance agents) and are the responsibility of the recipient.

Surcharges may be applicable if the goods ordered are returned to us due to non-delivery, which may also include additional admin costs.

Special requirements

If you must have your goods by a special date and your order request falls near that date, please contact us to ensure we can make every effort to get the goods to you on time. In some cases, this may incur an additional charge; however, you will not be asked to pay without your prior permission.

Returns and Refunds

You are welcome to order any item from our catalogue. If you are dissatisfied, please return the items in an unused condition and the original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the cost of your goods. Custom-made/bespoke items and tartan fabric are excluded from the returns policy except when a genuine defect has been identified. Please note: We will refund the price of the item to the purchaser once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge will be given for incorrect, damaged, or faulty goods. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the safe return of goods.

USA We’ve Got You Covered, We’ll Pay Duties on Orders Under $800 – So You Don’t Have To

From August 29th 2025, rules for shipping to the USA change, due to the removal of the $800 de minimis threshold. This means that all deliveries for US online shoppers will incur duties and taxes, no matter the value of the order placed, but good news: we've got you covered!

For all orders under $800, Lochcarron will be covering the import duty costs and taxes for our US customers. During this period of change, we’re doing everything from our side to reduce disruption and keep your Lochcarron shopping clear, reliable, and well-supported. You will not be asked to pay any extra duties or taxes when your parcel is delivered under $800. 

We’re not passing these new costs on to you. We believe in doing the right thing and helping you have a seamless journey when shopping with us.
